Looking for some design drawings for a root rake

I need to build a root rake for our new home. I'd like have somebody cut the pieces so I only have a kit of parts to assemble. Currently, I don't have the time to try and reverse engineer something. Does anybody have a .dwg or .dxf file for the pieces? I don't know if you are still interested but I do have a cad file for the root grapple. Sorry, I took so long to respond. I've had some other things going and just have not had the time to logon for a while. Let me know if you are still interested.

How big is your tractor, and do you plan on using a quick attach plate? If you have limited lift or breakout capacity, you definitely want to watch the weight.

After a year of procrastination, I finally built my rake/grapple this fall for my Kubota L2800, and it has worked out very well so far, but it is pretty light weight (about 250 lbs. without the cylinder). I saved weight by unpinning the bucket and pinning on the rake without using a QA plate. It's a little more pain changing it, but definitely worth it in performance.

Just a thought.

It'll be going on my loader. If I recall correctly, it has around 5,000lb of breakout force. Quick attach, but it doesn't use the standard skidsteer plate.

That's probably four times the force available with my L2800, so the extra weight is not going to hurt you.

Building up the two boxes to fit my loader's arms took as long as the rest of the grapple, since they had to closely match the existing parts (and had four bushings each).

Did jba get you fixed up with the QA plate mounting parts also, or just the rake?
