I'm looking for some R-2 tires and rims. Need a set of 4, but would be interested in pairs if you have them. I need the tires to be in good shape. The right size will be around 8.3x22. The size is approximate and can be slightly larger or smaller. If you have a importer source, I'd be interested in talking directly with them.

Ok, how about some rims and tires from a 1500? If I have too, I'll even take tires with dry rot (I'll just foam fill them).

Good choice Cord. That's what I did. Mine are 8.3x24 tho on a CJ5. There was the problem of making adapters for the wheel lugs, and there were some clearance issues with the fenders. Plus, those big clods the treads pic up can really make a mess and hammer the fender wells. But the frame and axle clearance are outstanding! Good choice.

I think I have some, I'll have to check.

Ok, let me know. I just bought a pair of 1500 rims and tires. The size is 8.3x22 so I'll need to match to that.

The tractor that these are coming off of is a junker. The transmission is already spoken for and the engine is shot. If anybody needs some other 2wd 1500 parts I know that they'd be super cheap.

Good! I was actually waiting for the members to line up telling me that I was smoking some bad crack! Do you have any pics of your installation? Mind sending me some? EinwalterT at yahoo.com How much lift do you have? What do you have for axles? I have Dana 35/44's. I was worried about going bigger than a 37" tire for fear of breaking the axles. I havn't decided on power just yet. I'd love to do a Cummins 4BT, but proably won't because of cost. I might go with a very mild small block Chevy. I'm thinking that if I have anything over 300hp that I'll be breaking axles.

I have one set of tires and rims off a 1500, sized 8.3/8-22. I need one more set. The 1601, 1700, 1701, 1702, 1720 and 1802 tractors all used the same size. I'd also be willing to consider separate rim and tire sets. Send me a e-mail or post here. Einwaltert at yahoo.com
