Looking for suggestions for use of retired fire hoses

Thanks Steve, based on your avatar and user name it looks like you might know what you are writing about. What would I call them? Just fire hose couplings or is there a better more specific term? And as an aside they are not actually fire hoses according to the auction: Public Surplus: Auction #1631493

Looks like Storz couplings to be, male and female.
