Looking for Used Kubota

I am thinking of selling my Jinma 25hp 4x4 tractor with loader, my Bobcat 753 skidsteer and my trailer backhoe and replace everything with a Kubota tractor. We have BX2660's (mowers) and a L3200 (loader, backhoe) at work and I think something in between them would work for me. I would want a loader, backhoe and brush cutter and at least be able to use a belly mower for back up to our Cub Cadet garden tractor.I find a lot of BX24's for sale with loader and backhoe, was wondering if they were too small? What would be a good model for my uses?

Look at a B7800, lot's available and very reliable.

For your lot size and current machines I would look at the L Series - but check the subframe out they may/may not allow you to use a MMM.

As Newbury suggests there are a lot of B7800's and similar out there - also look for a B3300 (newer) with TLB setup used - they are about $24K new and maybe high teens to low $20's with 100-200 hrs on them. The ease of removal of the BH is another factor - the older subframe removal/replacement was not easy - if you can get one that has the 4 Post/point attachment for the BH so the subframe stays with the tractor.

As to pricing - I have a clean B21 434 hrs - tried to sell in May for $16,500 but didn't sell so i didnt get the B26. What I found was people were looking at new BX25 series @ $17K and comparing them to the B21, then otthers were looking to spend $12K. At the end of the day, you might find a new B3300 with the BH and MMM a better long term deal.

Then there are the dedicated TLB's (B25-B21-B26-L39-L45) and for your use I would look at B21-26 or better the L39/45 series.

Yes I would like something bigger than the BX's. The B or L series sounds better for my use. I really like our works L3200, the backhoe is really easy to take off and on. What horse power are some of the models (like the B7800)? What are there weights?

As a rule mitch, the B series are 28-32 HP and the L series runs from 30-50 hp range. In weights the B series tractor and FEL are roughly 2000 Lbs and with a BH 3000 Lbs range. The L series about 3000 Lbs tractor and FEL, and 4500 Lbs with the BH.

Also when I looked in your area Binghmton/Syracuse you have very few TLB used units on Craigslist and those that were seemed high $$ so you might be better off new - like the B3300SU with the BH is a very nice machine and in the $24K range TLB.
