I suggest that you start a new thread, along with providing more detail. ie cranks slow, you are using the - Cold Weather Starting Procedure Using Intake Air Heater System-If Equipped - Here is the operators manual.

We have the same engine. Since I started using JD fuel additive and having both the gear and range in neutral my tractor starts easier.

I bought a 5205 4wd with loader new in 2006. Traded it in with 800 hours on it, only thing I did other than routine maintenance was replace the rubber fuel lines and the spring on the clutch pedal broke. It was the perfect size tractor for me and had plenty of power and was reliable. I wish I had kept it instead of the new E series.

I've used my 5205 for about ten years on ranch work.
I use it to load hay, disk, drill and shred with fine success. It is mfwd with a loader.
Also, use a Beltec to dig post holes.
Couldn't be happier.
