Looking to have a custom trailer built?

I need to have a custom trailer built. I live in western NY, but will be traveling to FL quit often now. Aging parents. So picking it along the way is no problem.

It is for something werid. To build my own RV Tiny house on it. I have places to park it much closer to my parents, (own 4 dogs) so I can't rent.

I would like to know, if anyone knows who might be willing to build a custom Lowboy 8'x20' at a "reasonable price". It is not something that will be on the road much. Don't need a dovetail, deck, railing, ramps, etc. Something just like in phase I photo.

Any trailer builder can do that. What I would do though is look for a old camper and gut it.

From what I can see in Axles, the smaller RV trailers(20'=24') axles will not be up to the weight of all the wood, I'll be using. Then there is aged tires, etc.

As is, I'm gutting my 2002 31' Starcraft for all the components(had a roof leak & in fixing it, found it was bad, & done at the factory, Friday Trailer?). So no one would give me what the guts are worth to me. I thought of cutting it down, but it's axles are set up too high, for a loft "bedroom".

Look into carhauler trailers, they are low to the ground and built very sturdy.

I agree. If you need more weight cap. a skid steer trailer has a low deck also.

The suggestions already given for trailers is fine.

what i really dont understand is the want/need to go that direction. A simple bumper pull RV would be much more liveable for the same money.
