I bought a 4060 w/ 270TL FEL w/ quick attach 72", OS, rear hydraulics, Grill guard, EHSS, R4, in April 2009.
The 60HP cost enough more than the 55HP, and I agree with Jinman, is the 5HP worth that much more? $34K
...But this is a Tractor, and sometimes you buy what you want, which may be a little more than you need, but I never heard anyone say, "I wish I had a few less HP".....
I was looking to buy a 3045 (TC-45, T-2040 or what ever other model names NH calls it) as it was the largest Hydro NH made and we all know how easy the hydro is.
The EHSS does not really have a clutch, it is an "Inching Pedal".
We are so used to not burning our clutches with feathering, but, as I understand it, that is exactly what you do with the inching pedal.
With a little practice, you get real good at "inching", when you need to.
Not as easy as the HYdro for the little woman...
I am sure you will be happy with your decision.
All these machines are good ones
