2019 Kioti NX55
Hello All

I was doing some work with the landscape rake and a stick got wedged up beyond the skid plate. Fortunately I caught it before too much damage, but I think it did pull some wires loose. Will try to attach picture. I can see some kind of box further back that I think they came out of (sensor?)….Picture is from right side, just under floor plate.

Tractor seems to operate fine; nothing leaking, etc. I drove it back to the shop and got the wires taped up and zip tied out of the way.

Anyone have any idea how big a deal this is?
I know it’s pretty hard to diagnose, but thanks for any info.

Update: Think the wires are part of the 3rd function control for the front end loader….Have a grapple on it right now; just opened up the upper jaw, but it won’t close….Everything else seems fine…Could be worse I guess…

I've got over 670hrs on my NX and I haven't (knocks on head) damaged any wiring: only wiring issue I've had was a bad connector to the cabin fan. As you've found out, any aftermarket stuff needs to be amply guarded (factory stuff isn't very well protected, but, as I've noted here, it's managed to survive my time). Remote hydraulic lines I ran are tucked in under the cab and I still ran them through sleeves (to protect against possible chafing).

Always need to take care while running in brush. I managed to have some brush knock the hose to my B7800's hydraulic return's hard line (all runs in channel and there's like a 3" x 5" [?] opening and a stupid piece of brush slid up and caught that connection to pop the line off): with an HST machine things come to a complete halt! Running into debris piles with my NX has cost me about $1,300 so far (broken loader curl cylinder; broken door)!

FYI - Posting in the Kioti forums might get you more eyes from Kioti folks.

Diesel- Thanks for the feedback. Good tip on the Kioti forum...Will keep that in mind for next time (hopefully not too soon...)

FWIW, I think I’ve narrowed down what the loose wires were for: Seems they are part of the control for the third function on the front bucket. I had a grapple on there and realized that I could open the top jaw but couldn’t close it...Will probably contact the dealer and see how big a deal it is.

Thanks again
