Losing Too Many Parts!

/ Losing Too Many Parts! #11
Wally, if you have small lynch pins, you may not be able to find a better quality one. The attachment shows several pins and only the standard size for the 3PH are available in a stronger version as far as I know. You can see the difference in the two pins in the middle, but the small pin at the top-left is easily bent. A hairpin can be used and some people also tie safety wire around the hairpin to keep it from flexing once it has been inserted.

tractor supply still sells the pins with the little chains attached. that way when they snag and pop loose they dont get lost. I have been known in the past to tack (one trigger pull on the mig) pins on when I knew I was going to be clearing rough places with my old bush hog. When you need to remove it touch with the grinder or smack it loose with a hammer.
