2009 CT235, When moving joy stick all the way to the right past detent, my rate of bucket dump does not increase. Checked quick connect fittings for bucket (disconnected and re-connected) no change. Any suggestions of things I can check without going to dealer. I don't remember the bucket needing a load to increase the dump rate. First time I have noticed this issue since new, has 650 hrs.

The bucket needs to be filled for the regen function to work properly. Otherwise it can actually dump a bit slower.

Thanks Kennyd, I had a read that on a older post pre 2010 but just wasn't sure. It does tend to slow a bit as you mentioned. I will test tomorrow.

KennyD, you still there? Fast dump is still not working even with a load. Also noticed, that when back dragging the bucket wants to curl up even with a light load. Bucket does not drift or creep down under load.

If the bucket is not drifting, then the cylinder seals should be OK and I would have to suspect a valve issue. You can inspect all the linkages to ensure the spool is moving it's full range of travel just to rule that out. Also some tractors (not sure on yours though) have a lever or some other way to lock out the regen portion, but you did say you can move past and feel the detent that kind of rules out a lockout or linkage issue.

By checking linkages, do you mean insure that cylinders are extending and retracting completely when moving joy stick. Thanks once more for your time in responding Kennyd. Looks like as soon as I replace starter I will take to the dealer. When it rains it pours, but its been a pretty trouble free machine. Thinking about taking to Kioti dealer since the Bobcat techs do very very little tractor work.

I mean the linkages the connect the joystick handle to the valve spools.

I'm not sure what you call a fast dump. Once warm mine works the same with or without a load. At full left/right speed is the same. Now when cold it is much slower. Has your weather changed? The other thing to check is when was the last fluid and filter change?

Now I did have a coupling partially fail a while back but that gave me a no dump situation. Perhaps buy a new set and try. It good to have a spare anyway.

Hope this helps.

Been watching this thread to learn. My CT235 does not have a detent for fast dump, it does have a detent for releasing pressure on lowering boom. Hoses could be reversed and achieve fast dump. Anybody else out there have a detent on their dump?

I would remove the cover from the non-handle end of the valve's dump spool and take a look. There may be a loose bolt/screw under the cover that isn't letting the spool travel fully into the regen position.
