Lots of light upgrades!!

I ran across this video showing numerous upgrades to a Kubota 5740, mostly to the lights. I'm interested in some light bars, but the thing that really caught my attention was the little scrolling light bars that told when the parking brake was engaged....boy could I use those!!

Why didn't it surprise me to see that it was Paul Short making something that nice! He does excellent work.....on everything he touches.

Yes, Paul has made lots of lighting improvements to his tractors and some great videos as well.
I've not gone to that extent but have added F&R LED lights, F&R strobes, LED Top flashing strobe, and reflective tape on the sides. It does make a world of difference when plowing day or night. The lights do catch the eyes of approaching vehicles. I also added a digital voltmeter and 4WD indicator.

I could have predicted that was one of Paul's mods before even seeing the video.

I eventually trained myself to check the park brake anytime I hop back on the tractor, but on my first tractor a light would have been handy.

My new L4060 starts buzzing or beeping at me after trying to drive with the parking brake on. So much nicer than my L3200 where I'd drive in a circle once or twice before noticing the left split brake was in park.
