We've been raising cattle for 8 years now. Bought my first tractor in 2000, and still have it - Kubota L2850 with backhoe and loader, and some other 3pt hitch attachments. Original plans were for clearing saplings and snow. Now its doing that and feeding, trenching, stumping, mowing and wrapping round bales.
Also have a Bobcat 963 - good for lots of other things - like lifting heavy loads (1200 lbs balage), grabbing very large brush piles, and digging post holes everywhere. It also gets stuck in mud a lot (tracks would be better, but this is what we could afford). Its also heavy enough to give us good compaction on silage.
Have access to 2 other Kubotas (L3190?, L4250?) and a White 4-150. These we use mostly for haying (mowing and baling) and extracting stuck trucks and hay wagons.
