Hey jay
I was told that my new toothbar (ordered monday) would be here by friday (today), but alas, it wasn't here when I came home from work.
Hope mine, when it shows up, will be as handy......

I wish I had a pile of rocks like that also Diesel-ME

I could not help myself :D! I was trying to "convince" "She Who Must Be Obeyed " that "we" really need to rebuild one of our raised stone weed beds. I ordered the toothbar from my local NH dealer hoping to avoid the measuring and drilling hassles. I almost lost sphincter control at the price ($508).
The model (#86599706DS) is for the 60" HD bucket with a bolt on cutting edge already attached. The toothbar is ~58.75". It appears that the engineer who designed this bar did not take into account the additional measurements of the 3/8" welded on reinforcing metal on the HD bucket. I had to redrill the 5/8" side holes on the bucket (no big deal) and I got longer 5/8" carriage bolts from the dealer (30+ mile round trip). I will take pictures of the bar and setup tomorrow (I have mandatory "training" this beautiful day today, and I can not play/work with the tractor :(). Jay

Oh, dear, not a pretty picture, for that price I would expect an exact fit. I'm sure we would all like to see pictures of what makes this toothbar so special. How much does it weigh... can one person pick it up? Length of teeth?

Ordered mine from Markham on Tuesday morning, had it Thursday.

Fit snug, and my 18 volt dewalt and a uni-bit did the trick.

It's a nice addition.

Ooohh, that's a pricey toothbar, especially for no exact fit. That's unfortunate. But it sounds like you worked the problem out and have put it to good use. It's the final outcome that's the most important. Congratulations on the new toothbar!!

Here's a picture of my toothbar. It's a Markham, 70.5", $289. Fit like a glove. (Note: I just posted these same pictures on the attachment forum on a toothbar thread).
