For the last couple of days, I noticed the low brake fluid indicator light flickering. First...to the manual to read up on troubleshooting. As one might expect, low brake fluid.

Removed the cap from the brake fluid reservoir only to find out it's nearly to the "max' level. Added more brake fluid as a safety measure. Next...check below the engine compartment for brake fluide leaks, under the tractor, etc.

Still get the flickering low brake fluid indictor light.

Possibly a faulty sensor? Anyone had this problem?

BTW...had the same problem on a faulty oil pressure sensor.

Some thoughts:
It's not uncommon for the fluid level to drop a little as the brake discs and plates mate to each other in the first hours of operation. This could be anywhere from 50 to 200 hours or more depending on conditions and operating style.
It is not uncommon for the reservior to need to be slightly over the 'MAX' line to keep the darn light off.
It isn't a very sophisticated float switch and they can hang up or fail.

You're not kidding, Rick. The whole plastic reservior, cap, hoses, mounting seems like something invented by Mickey Mouse.

Been doing some backblade work today and the light doesn't come on...yet.

I had the same thing happen on my TN75 - the connector on top of the cap had been pulled apart slightly. Pushed it back together and solved the problem

There has been many posts regarding electrical problems with NH tractors - myself included.

Just one more item to check.

However...as with any tractor/truck/automobile built today, there's so much electronic devices/sensors that no wonder something goes wrong. Case in point: My '05 Chevy Silverado is going back to the dealer for it's 3rd electronic module that controls the window lifts, keyless entry, etc. And it only has 15,000 miles on it.
