Low Cost JD SCV supplier legit?

I need to replace my SCV on my JD 990. The dealer wants $1400 for one. I see several sites that are selling them for around $1100. One is global parts zone. Here's another site for even less. Has anyone bought anything from these guys?

Why do you need to replace it? You should be able to buy all of the required parts to repair it if needed.

I am suffering from fairly substantial drift on the bucket. It drops more than a foot an hour. I have isolated the problem to the SCV. I replaced the seals with the repair kit but that didn't do anything. I noticed wear marks on the spools where the chrome has worn off. I understand that these are not serviceable as they rely on a tight dimensional fit to seal. So that's why I'm investigating the replacement SCV.
