I have 23 hours on my L3000DT, so I decided to check all the fluid levels and grease the loader. To my surprise, two of the 12 fittings were dry /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif They missed the same one on both sides. OK, greased them up. But the fluid in the front axle (4WD) wasn’t touching the dip stick /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif Went to the dealer and they gave me a gallon of UDT. Wow a gallon, not going to need this much /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. Ya right, it took 3 quarts, capacity is 6.3 quarts /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif Called the dealer and they apologized and said “don’t think it caused and damage”. Boy am I miffed, this can cause a problem you won’t see for hundreds of hours. Not dealer bashing, but don’t know how to handled this. I should of gone through the machine when I got it. Too excited I guess. It can't be good or am I overreacting.

Boy did you catch me at a bad time! I just posted on another thread but I'll put it in here too cause I am ready to burst!
Consider this dealer bashing if you like, I have no problem with that. If it doesn't describe your dealer, then obviosly I am not reffering to them!
Take a guy with a pole barn, a few scattered spare parts and a couple of crated orange tractors. He rips apart a crate, bolts on wheels, checks to see if it even starts, stuffs some deisel in it and chains it to a trailer (oh yeah, he also sticks his dealer stickers all over it, trapping air bubbles under the decals like he was trying to do it on purpose). For this they make hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
Then there's me (you know, the guy who who saved a few grand and will still be paying for the tractor for the next 3 years),
Im left wondering if I'm crazy cause the deck is crooked, every painted surface is chipped or scratched, 2 out of 3 of the dipsticks show the wrong level and there's a rattle that sounds like someone left a screw in the tranny.
Oh the therapy in venting..... Anyway, I want to stress that this is not just Kubotas, not even just tractor dealers. It's everybody everywhere all the time. I give up.
As for you and your problem,
I am VERY glad I checked all my fluids up front. Sorry you didn't. Trade the tractor before you get hundreds and hundreds of hours but at this point I wouldn't worry about it for a few years. What can you do?
..... Dammit that ticks me!
