I would like to be able to lower my 3PH snowblower about two inches. Just wondering if they make a piece that goes between an attachment and the 3PH lift arms so the attachment can be lowered further.
The situation is that I have a flat driveway with a sloped road off it. When I back off the drive onto the crest of the hill, the snowblower is off the ground until the tractor crests the hill. Lowering the 3PH all the way when the blower crests the hill helps but I would like the blower to lower about 2 inches lower than the 3PH allows. The blower has two pin height locations and I could weld plates on the blower so I would have a third (higher) pin location.
I know... there are other ways to solve the problem like snowblowing going uphill or clean up the little bit of snow with the FEL

I was looking for the 'quick attach' that mounts to the 3pt, and it raises the implements. was wondering if one could mount them 'down instead of up', and acheive what you are looking for.

I can't remember the name of them though.

Can't you adjust it with the toplink? get a longer toplink if you need to.. They come in different sizes.

Could you get more range by drilling holes in your lift arms so the links are more vertical when lowered? Or bolt short plates on the arms to raise the pin locations (effectively lengthening the links)?

The top link will adjust the leveling/tilt of an attachment. I would need so much top link adjusting that the blower would be too far out of level.

I have the material and equipment to weld plates on the blower for a third (higher) pin location. Just hate to modify the blower or tractor if there is a store bought adaptor available.

This is kinda what I was talking about, this one will extend your 'length', which will in turn extend your 'drop' to a degree.

But they make another one, that will sit on top of your arms(and still hook to the existing holes), but maybe install them 'upside down'?

How about a pic of your lift arms? and the blower attached?

"Good evening,

I just saw your thread and I can offer you
an easy fix for your predicament I think.

I would go to a steel supplier with the
measurements for the top link and lower
links steel thickness and ask for the
closest size of rectangular steel tubing
for that size and have them drill one hole
in the blower end of the three pieces and
then they can drill the opposite end the
size for the replacment set of lower pins
which you can obtain from tractor supply
to add length to the mounting frame 3
point hitch for all three points.

The top link can be unthreaded to add
the proper length for the arc of travel
required and the snowblower will still
work fine on the flat land.
