Lowering exhaust on TN w/ ROPS???

I have a TN75 with ROPS and need to know how to get the exhaust lowered. We're starting to build a house and I had planned on spreading the gravel in the basement and garage with the TN. It seems that there should be an easy way to do this since the ROPS fold down easliy.

My neighbor down the road from me sliced about 2 inches out of his vertical stack where the lower bracket stabilizes the exhaust pipe. After he welded the pipe back together and ground the weld smooth the original bracket hid the fact that the pipe had ever been touched in the first place. He now pulls in his garage with ease. I think that he may have also reoriented the tip of the pipe so that it isn't nearly as apt to blow back at his cab too.
