LS 4145HC: Will it accommodate a 6'-4" person comfortably

Hi All,
Thought about buying my son-in-law a new LS XR series with hydro and cab. My question is for you taller guys. How comfortable is the cab and seat in reaching the needed controls. Another poster felt the steering wheel was too low, and he was only 6 ft. tall. My SIL is 6'-4". but slim.

Are there other tractor brands, ie Kioti,etc., that offer telescoping steering columns and seats with greater flexibility ?

Mine doesn't have a cab but I am 6'3" and I am fine on my xr4140h. The smaller models were not a good fit for me.

Ray, thank you for your response...as I said, I thought about buying this as a gift and want to avoid any possible disappointments.....Someone else who is 6' posted earlier that the steering wheel didn't come up high enough....And that in adjusting the seat, he felt he could not reach the controls comfortably. He was in an XR4145HC, which is the model I was thinking about. I'm only 5-9, so no problem for me, but, you taller guys are a different story.

I am 6ft 2 and 280lbs and was looking at the XR4150c, I could have dealt with the space in the cab of the 4150, but then I sat in the cab of the XU6168CPS and there was no comparing. Plenty of room and price was only $5,000 difference so I bought the 6168.

I am 6ft and it was just weird. Get the steering wheel and seat right, the pedals are too close. Get adjust the seat for pedals, the steering wheel was too low. The angle of the wheel is adjustable and that worked, but the steering column was too short, and I found myself reaching. That said, maybe someone else has longer arms or shorter legs and it fits them fine. Other than that I loved the tractor. In fact I would still buy one as my cab snow removal machine. I could probably have a longer steering column machined...and it would be worth it!
