Picked up some factory color touch up paint at my dealer. $13. Not cheap, but not terrible depending on the scale of the project.

One of the projects I have planned for next year is to build a tool rack / ballast rack for the 3ph. Still debating whether or not it would just be easier to spend the money for a few rattle cans, or get the Sherwin-Williams LS paint mentioned in another post. With more paint, though, I might be tempted to repaint the other implements, too.

Just be sure to ask the price before buying. I've seen the same paint advertised at $33. per can at certain dealers.
I'd go for the Sherwin-Williams paint first if an exact match is wanted.

I haven't seen the Sherwin color in person yet, but it looks to be closer than sail blue rustoleum.
I tend to paint the attachments I build black. That way they're universal.

For those that haven't seen it here's the Sherwin-Williams paint code posted by other LS owners. The paint formulas may be slightly different as both were obtained by different members.

The second picture of the S-W can is mine. It's a perfect match for LS Blue.

Repainted my grill guard after modifying it.

I have some stuff that is Sail Blue and others that are Rustoleum Safety Blue. The Sail Blue I find to be darker ... more close to the old Ford blue but the Safety Blue is close enough for me and will probably be my go-to paint since I can just run to Lowes etc. to get it. Not too hung up on everything matching ... just don't like rust.

rlgustafson, I really like the mesh on the grill. Seen several do that and it looks nice. If I can quit breaking things on my tractor I might find time to do a nice improvement like that. Also need to find a good spot to attach a toolbox/ammo can.

One day when I have copious amounts of free time I may get a gallon of that Sherwin Williams matching paint and shoot everything with a professional spray gun but for now ... it's rattle cans that are close enough.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but making it with holes to hold lynch pins ... not only to hold them while putting on or taking off implements, but as a place to look and reassure myself that I didn't forget one. :confused2:

That spot might work. I no longer have the work light there so I could re-purpose the threaded holes in that area for a bracket. Thanks for the idea!
