My connector is not the 7 pin trailer connector (that is mounted on top of the 3pt hitch upper lift arm housing) I'll post a photo of the connector I'm talking about.

Hi All Been creeping this forum for a while now. Thought it was time to pitch in. Bought an LS 7010 with FEL in 2010. Love the tractor! Still trying to learn some stuff on it. One thing that has me puzzled is the 2 wire electric connector that out the rear of the left storage tray in the cab by the back window. Anyone know what it is for? I tried tracing it yesterday but the wire goes under the cab mount foam and I'm not going to remove the cab! I had to buy a new bucket for it. The bucket that came with it is pretty cheap. 1/8 inch steel. Not good for a 4x4 tractor. Bent it all to heck last fall back dragging some shale and gravel. Got the new bucket yesterday - Horst HLA standard duty. Had one one my old tractor and it is a beast! Gotta get my rear tires loaded though. Going to put in Rimguard. Which brings me to another point of interest...the tire rims are Titan. Biggest name in industrial wheels. The rims have the mounting holes for wheel weights. Dealer tells me that they do not make wheel weights for that rim. Kinda strange. Why the mounting holes if the wheel weights aren't made?

Found out what the plug in is for. Mechanic told me that it was for a small electric cooler/fridge that mounts on the tray to the left of the operator. Cool! Said he had seen one in a KLM tractor. I decided to to go with loaded tires. Went to a Massey dealer who ordered me two rear wheel weights - 150lbs each. Some of the Massey machines have the exact same rim as the LS 7010. Another thing check under the dash behind the ignition switch. Make sure that all wiring harness connectors are plugged in. I discovered one disconnected, showed it to the mechanic who immediately plugged it in while muttering expletives about other mechanics not knowing what they are doing. Apparently the wire is part of the wheel braking system. When you apply the brakes all four wheel brakes are supposed to activate. When you touch the brakes the 4 x 4 indicator light will come on telling you that all four brakes are working. The system is modulated similar to ABS braking so that brake pressure is evenly distributed to each brake reducing the chance of skidding and reducing wear on the brakes. The mechanic told me that some shops are disconnecting the wiring harness because some folks were expressing concern that the 4 x 4 light was coming on when the applied the brakes. Disconnecting the harness makes the problem go away....at least for the mechanic!
