Hello,
I have a G3038H that has blown out one of the power steering hoses that run from the power steering box to the front cylinder. I am not a mechanic, but I am decently mechanically inclined. That being said when I go to put the new hose on what should I be looking for in terms of screwing up? Are the power steering, front end loader and rear hydraulics all part of the same system and use the same fluid or is the power steering a separate system with its own fill port ect ect?? I assume I just fill it back up with hydraulic fluid if its all one system or power steering fluid if its not, bleed the line by loosening the fitting on the hose coming out of the power steering box until it drips solid fluid with no air then re-tighten and I should be good to go at this point. The hose replacement looks pretty much like two screw on fittings on either side so I am not too worried about that. Lastly, since I do not have a manual I have no idea where the fill ports are on this thing.
Thanks,
Gregg
