LS Looks Good but Dealers and service?

I guess I could post them in German and let posters translate them back to English. I doubt the mods would be able to decipher themn anyway......lol

The dealer Hobby Tractor is 242 mile north of where I will be in Utah. There are no LS dealers around where I am. A Kubota is $8K or more than the LS.
The LS has more stock features than the L2501. Hobby Tractor has offered a good price to match any, and will deliver for free. The have been there 40 years.
So far, I am READY! 2 Weeks more and I may have the LS MT225H with backhoe and loader!
At 74 years, reminds me of Christmas as a little boy! Toys are great!
I like the L2501 too, but it is really expensive. LS has a quick bucket as standard, a level rod, and not as much hump at the floor board.
Come with nice Lights to make me street legal going to my friends house.
We will see what happens!

I am 73 & also live a long drive from the nearest dealer. That bothered me so I talked to the dealer about it. The upshot was when I bought my last new tractor, the dealer and I agreed on who would be responsible for transporting the tractor if it had to be transported for any warranty work that his mobile service mechanic couldn't do at my place. And also agreed on what conditions would mean I would get a "loaner tractor" if mine had to be in the shop for any extended length of time. We wrote our agreement right on the sales contract as a condition of the sale.

I also bought a real factory service manual and factory parts manual - both from the dealer and they have come in handy.

Reading through this entire thread, I have to wonder how many have actually sent your tractor back for warranty work? I could be wrong, but my unscientific observation has been that if something is wrong it will show up in the first 50 hours.

After all of my concerns...see post above #42, no warranty work was done or required. The dealer did the 50 hour service and I did the others myself. I did have a boom cylinder fail a few months AFTER the warranty (extended warranty) expired. The dealer sent out his mobile truck & mechanic who replaced the cylinder with a new one for no charge.
