So guys... been doing more price and model comparisons on things. Mostly due to the worry or concern of resale if/when the time comes.... I've attempted to try to compare as much apples to apples on models and curious if anyone else out there has looked at both of these as well to provide their feedback.

The Kubota has a pretty nice HST+ tranny that seem pretty nice. Specs show it weighing in a 4,134lbs.. 1720lbs front loader lift capacity.

The LS also has a HST tranny as well. I think the 2 pedal design is better on it. Specs show it weighing in at 4,334lbs.. 25000lbs front loader lift capacity.

Kubota quotes over the phone was around 34k and the LS was at 28.5k.....

Just trying to decide if the extra cost is worth it for the orange..... I also question the 2500lb front loader capacity fro the LS... I'm going to have to get that verified as I pulled that from an 'ad'.

I can't speak for those models, I can only speak for mine, and I compared many models that were compatible with mine and hands down LS was the best bang for the buck. As far as the lifting capacity I have the rear tires filled and a box blade on it and it will still lift enough to lighten the rear end. Just my. 02

I can't speak for that particular Kubota model, but for Kubota in general as I owned 3 before my LS. For reliability, durability, and resale value, they are hard to beat. Right up there with John Deere in my book, and many would say better than green in the CUT market. But they almost always have less lift capacity than other makes. The 2500 lb figure for the LS is accurate, and the LS is a very well made tractor. I would bet good money that the Kubota will always have better resale value than the LS (at least until LS becomes more established in the US) based on name recognition alone. I bought my 4046 based on LS reviews on this site and because I have no plans to sell it. It's a joy to drive every time I climb in the cab.

I am in the same debate right now, did not make it this weekend to look at the LS models, had too much work that needed done. I was very seriously looking at a Mahindra but some souring happened.
In any case, everything I can see online, and a few members I have chatted with are overly pleased. I think LS will become a major player in the market over the next few years, and with that will come higher prices. Re-sale? well are you planning on keeping this for a while or something you want to use and sell?
My only concern originally, was longevity, parts sourcing, and Korean MFG. But from the research that I have done, (way too much) I don't see either of these being a problem.
I have it figured I can get more tractor for the money with LS
Going to test drive, and operate this week
