I have a Kohler 15 HP engine that came out of an LT155. I am hoping to put it in my Kubota T1560. The Kubota had a Kawasaki FC420V engine. The case is broken.
The Kohler has a wiring pig tail with 4 wires. They almost look like a trailer wiring plug; I believe I saw brown, green, white and yellow. Seems 3 of the wires were on one harness, and the white wire was on its own.
I'm guessing all I really need to do is wire + battery wire to starter, through a relay, and ground from battery. Shouldn't be any more wiring to worry about other than that????
Can I leave all my Kubota wiring and just make sure the power & ground from battery connect to Kohler? Guess I'm confused about this pigtail/harness coming off the Kohler.
thanks.
