LT1050 with 50\" deck

I just purchased this small tractor with a bagger unit. The unit contains -2- new blades. I understand the new blades are to increase the lift under the deck for the bagger. My question is - the instructions show 3 blades. I have -2- blades. I called the store I purchased and they called Cub Cadet. I was told the instructions needed to be updated as it only needs -2- blades. Does anyone have this model with a bagger? I am thinking this is just a lazy answer.

Some bagger kits only come with one hi-lift blade for the discharge side of a 3 blade deck. You're ahead of the game already! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks - and a apology to Cub Cadet... Again - I am proven to be the all knowing trash heap -- If I was to read the supplied information, positioned in a very visible location, on the bagger unit itself, I would have not asked the question. It informs me that they suggest using only 2 high lift blades on the 3 blade deck with the 3 bag bagger. Only apply high lift blades on the 2 outer blades and leave the center blade as a standard lift blade.... Caught again and no place to go...

I have a 2005 1050 with a 50" mower with a triple bagger. I also received mine with 2 high lift blades mounted on outside blades. My mower never mowed correctly ( left strip of grass uncut by center blade.) Cub Cadet has changed the policy of using only two blades. They had my dealer install the high lift blade to the center shaft and it now mows fine.

I have the GT3100 with 50" deck and my bagger came with three blades. There was a sticker on the part that covers the bags that said to only install two blades. I installed only two blades and was not satisfied with the cut. I installed the third blade and the cut is smooth and the pickup and movement of clippings into the bags is good. I am glad I had the third blade to install.

Just purchased bagger unit from Homer! Unit came with 6 blades instructions were to use the correct set and discard the ones that are incorrect! 3 round hole ,3 star hole. Purchased unit as a open box discount $300.00 .I think I got a bargin!? 1050 has 100 hrs. and going strong no problem so far ! Looking foward to doing leafs with bagger unit!
