LTX1050 PTO Disengages during mowing and uneven mowing.

I did take the battery to an auto parts store. The battery load test proved the battery is still in working cindition.

I did have a thought, as I possibly left out an important detail. When mowing the pto would engage at full power and then it would notcompletely stop working. It would go to maybe 25 percent power. It would still spin the blades and cuttings would be thrown from the discharge. However the distance and momentum would not be the same as while in full power.

Could this be caused by either the belt or not enough tension on the belt.

If it's not that I must concludconclusion de the pto is broken.

Leo - makes a lot of difference. We now know the battery is good. And your pto is of the type that is either full on or full off. The most common problem there is a slipping deck drive belt - and that belt needs to be an OEM belt from Cub Cadet. Has to be correct length, cross-section and material. Check for proper belt and routing per manual.
In reading your earlier posts also noticed that you had replaced at least one of the mower blades... Make sure you did not install that blade UPSIDE DOWN - very easy to do.

If you do not have an operator's manual for that machine, lift up you operator's seat, look in the cavity for a plate/decal with the mfgr's full model # and ser #. Note down that info, go to website PDF Manual Web Archive enter info and d/l related pdf files.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I did write symptoms on a note pad and i thought I wrote it all down.

I will go to Home Depot and purchase a new belt in the morning.

I went to home depot and purchased a new belt and while there I purchased items for an oil change. As long as I am working on the mower deck I may as well change the oil.

I am happy to say the issue was resolved. The changing of the belt did fix the issue. It runs beautifully.
