Just purchased a FB-B Van Brunt grain drill. Manual shows a lubricating point on the inside of the wheel. Can't seem to find one. Should there be one or do I need to take the wheel off and pack the bearings similar to a trailer wheel?

There is a jerk on the hub between the wheel and drill. At least there is on mine.

I thought that was usually holding the grease gun not part of the machine? 😜

It's "zerk". Named for Oscar Zerk who invented that grease fitting in 1929. Patent was assigned to the Alemite Corp.

OOOOOPPPPPS

I even read it after posting. I meant ZERK.

I did laugh pretty hard after figuring out what was wrong.

I have one too and it too has the "jerk" between the wheel and unit, on the hub. If you don't find one yours either broke off flush or fell out and the hole filled with dirt.
