Has anyone ever replaced their 6 spool control valve set up on one of these miserable units, and if so what kind, how much and where can I get one. Thanks, Bill

But I got to ask... why cant you get the existing to work? Hydraulic spools are fairly simple. If a rod was machined wrong its easy to replace that individual spool vs the entire 6 valve control.
fyi there is a hydraulics specific forum were you might find eyes that are more knowledgeable in hydraulics specificity.

I had a mechanic pull apart the relief valve and he found the inside part with the o-ring to fit much too tight. He hoaned and replaced twice, how would work for an hour and quit. Met a man who delt in these units, he got out as people kept coming back wanting refunds. So enough is enough. The cylinders look sound and so does the steel. Been battling this POS all summer, I need to get digging. I took your advice and bought a 16 gpm unit from surplus.
