We bought this LX188 and it ran fine for about 4 fills of the very nice grass catcher assembly and then just dies like you ran out of gas immediately or a high temp shut off switch.
I don't find any information in the user guide about a high temp kill switch, in the book it says the engine temp light will come on...
I pressure washed it and it ran much smoother until it overheated and died. Not sure what the problem is, leaning toward bad plugs because the posts look baked white by the metal ignitor, the signs of burning to lean or hot.
Is this a known issue with an easy fix?
