Please help. My New Holland Lx565 skid loader lift is leaking down intermittently. I had my mechanic check it and have spoken with my local dealer and both thought it was a bad lift check in the control valve. I bought a rebuild kit and my mechanic installed the new lift checks and didn't fix the problem. I went back to the dealer and spoke with service again and they said these are known for wearing out the lift check seat and the only fix is to replace the entire control valve. I followed their guidance and bought a new control valve assy. and installed it. Same problem... My mechanic is stumped, we went as far as tearing down both lift cylinders to check the packing. Both are perfect... I don't understand why the lift will work one second perfectly and then start leaking down. It seems like it happens once the lift arms are lowered all the way down to the bottom. I'm open to any and all suggestions. What are the chances that the new control valve I just bought could be defective? Please advise. Thx. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
