Oil & Fuel M 8540 Leaking Fuel Tank

I've got a small leak from the bottom of the fuel tank around the drainage plug. Nothing has hit the bottom of the tank. We've replaced two seals, one o-ring that sits in the plate that mouts to the tank, and the washer/seal on the drainage bolt. Still leaking. The next step is to replace the small plate that mounts to the tank, but I don't really think it will stop the leak.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so how'd you stop it leaking?

In the M40 series tractors within the serial number range listed above, there is a possibility that you may experience leakage at the fuel drain plate (Item #2 ) due to an uneven surface.

This service bulletin has been issued to make the Dealers aware that a fuel drain seal kit is now available in the event that you come across this type of failure.

Part number 3C081-97050

If you are still under warranty then it should be fixed,.. if not I supplied the part number for the kit that is needed.
