I recently bought this tractor and have been working on it ever since day 2. The left steering cylinder blew, I called for a rebuild/seal kit but could not find. I ordered the left and right sides and replaced the left. I drained the fluid and replaced with dextron. Is this ok? I loosened the lines to get the old crud out and even ran some clean stuff through to flush it out. I tightened all lines raised the front using the bucket and turned left and right with the tractor running. I did this several times but no luck. I can muscle the steering but nothing like power assist. I feel like I'm gonna need to r/r the right side since the throw seems to be different than the newly replaced left unit. Any advice will be appreciated. Is there a filter or screen that needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Is there a fuel shutoff so I can empty out the sediment bowl. I purchased some diesel kleen ...any idea on the value of using this product. thanks
