M Red Paint

Does anyone know any "red" paint that would match/or close to the Mahindra? I hame a spray M red, but want brush on.

I did take a sample of the dark gray to a place with a machine that matches colors. It was absolutly perfect when compared to the sample, in the store. When applied in daylight, it was hardly even close to the same color.

Maine my dealer got me matching paint in a spray can. I don't remember if you ever found a good close dealer or not with your purchase. I'm sure someone on here (dealer) could send you a can for not so much $$$.

When I welded on my hooks I didn'e want the welds to rust before I went to the dealer for paint. I had a can of red Rustolium laying around. It matched closer than my eyes could tell.

I have also heard the MF red is the same.

IH red is real close to. You can get it in spray and can at TSC. Its a bit $teep but it is available.

Gentlemen: The paint you seek is made by Sherwin-Williams.
The "canned" version is what I'm looking at now. SW markets their cans under the "OMNI-PAK" name. There are actually 2 different colors that will match. Mahindra Red is called "NEW 10 RED 02". Guess what? the KMW loaders that a whole bunch of us have also has a color (gee, its the same as Mahindra Red). Simply called "KMW RED". I haven't been to the SW dealer to order any yet but I used the Mah Red stuff to cover some limb scrathes in the hood's paint. Covered it very nicely. You have to look real close to even notice. good luck and if anyone goes to the SW dealer, let us know what you find out. BobG in VA

NAPA sells an industrial paint with the NAPA logo on the can called International Red. it will match nicely

Haven't been to the big city to check SW. Did check with NAPA. They would only sell a gal.

I had some old red paint in a can, so I painted with this paint first. Then used M spray can to finish.

I also found that the paint pictured in the attach. matches pretty close. I include the pic. because there is no name or number to identify the color, only the top. Found this at W-mart. A little over $3 per can, compared to M spray at $10 per can.

I have this paint on a tool box that is outside. It has been in the elephants since spring, plus I use the top of it to work on some, and it has stood up real well so far.

Also found out that there are more than one M red color,(three, I think). So it depends on the year of tractor.

It will be interested to find out if a Sherwin-Williams store will sell this paint at the retail level as it's probably something they only market to vendors.

I have used New Holland Red paint from the local Tractor Supply store and find it too close to tell the difference. I hear that IH red is close also. It's available in quarts and gallons and spray.
