Hi,

I recently purchased a nice M4700 with 900 hours. Great tractor, and I love every aspect of it except one: The loader operations are pretty slow. There is no leak down and the 3 pt works fine, and everything seems strong, so I think it's an issue of the relatively low capacity pumps on these tractors. It's rated for only a bit over 9 GPM. This issue might be compounded by the fact that this is a Canadian spec tractor (I live in VT), equipped with a Kubota branded Alo/Quicke loader that has significantly more lift capacity (and thus probably larger cylinders) than the LA1001 loaders that came on these machines in the states.

Anyway... long story short... how difficult, feasible, and expensive might it be to upgrade the pump? Or could there be a mechanical issue I'm not aware of? Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks!
