M4800 Block Heater?

You guys with a M4800. Do you have a block heater on your machine? My old girl sure seems to need one on these cold winter days. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get her to bust off and she likes to belch black smoke.

It is always easier to start a diesel that is warm but there should not be an issue with the 4800!
I'd wonder the hours, but you might have a glow plug failing.

Ok. How about lets hear from maybe: HCJtractor, bbirder, firefighter9208, bpspooner or gwdixon. You guys were commenting on the step recall thread and I know not all of you have an M4800 but do you have block or oil heaters on your tractors? Of course, as always, anyone else who has a comment!
