Hello to All,
It has been awhile, but I hope everyone and your families are all doing well.
I tried firing-up my M5400S this weekend and she would not turn-over. It was the battery. Pulled the battery and viewed I bought it in Aug 2009, so I guess it gave me almost 4 yrs. The last one gave me about 5+ yrs. It was an interstate with the CCA and CA that meet specs.
Tried charging her for about 5-6 hrs and it did nothing. So, I wanted to know if you guys could pls provide me with some makes/models of batteries that have served you well? I surely would appreciate your help and feedback.
Wanted to note for you that I am a weekend farmer and I had not run my tractor in about 3 wks, so I guess she died on me for good. Just wanted you to know so you could use this info if it helped in your recommendations. I also live in SW Texas where the winters are pretty mild compared to you guys up North.
