M5700 a/c problems

Hi,I own A M5700 Kubota 4x4 cab and a LA1002 loader The a/c does not seem to be cooling as good as I think it should. I have blown out radiator,condensor and a/c filter have also removed roof and blew out fan and evap. I am in Florida, I have to run fan on high almost all the time. I have checked freon with a/c gauges dont remember psi readings, but sight glass is clear. I am wondering if any one else has this problem and if they have done anything to help it. Would an electric fan on condenser or a larger condenser help. THANKS

Has it always been like this or did it used to be better?

Is it always the same temp or is it cycling on and off (will get cool...then warm up...then cool again)?

If it's cycling then it's likely low on charge.

You said you put gauges on it, so the gauges showed good?

The belt looks good that drives the a/c and none of the other components with that belt are seized or questionable?

Not sure how the tractor is set up - does it have a temperature control? If so does it work? In other words, does it get warmer when moved to warm and cooler when moved to cool?

Only had tractor for about a year but always about the same. So I checked with gauges every thing showed good, belt is good. It works pretty good if you keep rpm in 2200-2400 range but when discing or plowing in a small area where you have to throttle down a lot for turning around it starts warming up. I asked my dealer about it he said to tint windows. I think the battery is blocking air flow to condenser. Iam going to install an electric fan on condenser too see if it helps & maybe move battery.

Check your heater hoses, see if both are hot after the tractor runs a while. Hot coolant bypassing the heater valve can add 10-20 degrees to the vent temps of an otherwise perfect A/C system.

Tint the glass... BIG difference.
Next time you have the outer roof off, apply the 1/4 inch foil bubble wrap looking insulation to the underside of the top... another huge difference.
You can tell just how effective this will be by comparing the A/C operation at 12 noon to 12 midnight.... The sun load on a tractor cab is huge.
Start with tint you will love it... see attached picture...
Don't move battery, I know it looks like it is in the way but it is not blocking any significant part of the air flow... Do make sure that the hot water is fully off, like RickB said, install a mechanical ball valve if your not completely off on the heater hose feed.
After the bubble insulation in my roof I usually have to run my A/C on low, it gets COLD in there... KennyV.
