I have been looking at a M5700 with a cab. I think this is the right tractor for me. I have 88 acres and 45 head of cattle give or take and alot of mud in the winter; so I plan on geting 4wd. Any suggestion would help pros, cons, price, ect.

The M5700 is a great machine - with its hydraulic shuttle and big R1 tires, the 4wd will handle the mud with no problem. Will this be your first Kubota? If so, be prepared to smile a lot. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My dealer has one on the lot and I love it. I wish I could convince the wife to let me get it!!!! It looks like with the high ground clearance and those R1's it would do great in the mud!

Hi Jon,

Are you getting a loader?

What kind of prices are you being quoted?

Is there much of a price difference between the 4900 and the 5700?

The 5700 seems like a much beefier machine than the 4900.

With the current 0.0% financing, I might be looking a little bit closer.

Good luck with your purchase.

Yooper Dave

I haven't priced a 4900 I decided to go for more HP. I got prices from two different dealers. M5700 4WD W-CAB 27,219. The other dealer was 26,300 . Not sure if these prices are good or bad. I do plan on geting a loader but I don't know what kind . I have looked at three different brands. The 0.0% financing looks good but I don't think I can do 36 month.
I hoped I helped.
