M59 Hydraulic Breaker

I am looking to buy a breaker for my m59. Im hoping a gorillia (ghb60) will work with it? The hammer is asking for 6-13 gpm and Kubota specs indicate 16.2.

I am being told the auxillary valve on the backhoe is bi-directional. I can't seem to find it, or find out if the flow can be restricted to one direction as two directional flow can damage the hammer. Can anyone point out where it is located and if it can be set to only one direction?

Next I am being told a flow meter has to be hooked up and the gpm has to be "dialed" to a specific amount of flow. Is there a regulator on this machine that that is posible or does one need to be installed?

Anyone out there that has mounted a breaker on an m59?

Hmmm,

I don't know the answer to your question, except to say that I bet a breaker would beat the **** out of the hoe. I think Kubota offers one as well, I would call a Kubota dealer, compare what they are offering, and see if the service department can get you some more info about how Kubota hooks it up.

The 2009 Whole Goods pdf that I found on line only list a hydraulic breaker for the L48 not the M59. It is listed as part number KXB450F. There is a used one listed at Zimmer Kubota.

If you have the M59 quick coupler on the hoe I believe you will need to remove it to mount an L48 compatible breaker. The L48 and M59 are pin mount compatible. The L48 quick coupler is compatible with KX quick coupler buckets. The L48 BH quick coupler will mount on the M59. The M59 quick coupler will not work with KX quick coupler buckets.

You can add a hydraulic breaker when you build an M59 on the Kubota website. It's at the bottom of the attachments page...$9370 "Hydraulic Hammer - Quick attach type."

The Jan 2010 WG pdf has the information for the M59 added. The BT4580 listed as required is the M59 quick coupler. The used one from Zimmer looks like a pin on. The price in the list is obviously old based the Kubota site. Thought the part numbers might be useful in searching for used equipment.
