The first time I noticed this issue I didn't think much about it, because I was new to the machine and maybe operator error. I was digging a hole with the hoe and I run the machine just very shortly, just enought so I could plant a tree. I had to literally drive the tractor forward away from the hole because the the boom would not move left or right. I was running just a hair over idol/speed due to me not in a hurry and was careful due to the location. I moved the tractor and stopped it and all was fine, I was thinking RPM's wasn't enought to move the hydraulic fluid. Everything else worked great though, just not left to right. Today I was digging a large size hole about 20 mins worth, and the longer I run the machine the slower the boom got lifting it up. It finally wouldn't lift anymore, granted the 24in bucket was full of dirt each and every time. So when that happened I moved the hoe all the way to the left and sat it down on the ground, and shut the motor down for a bit. 30 minutes later I started back up to move the hoe and it would not move right to left at all. Rev'ed the motor to about 2000 RPM and moving the tractor and it surprisingly started again like it was normal. Any Idea's besides hauling it back to the dealer for it to work just fine like it does at startup. Any suggesstions on what I need to check before calling the dealer.

Had a similar problem caused by a hydraulic line not fully seated...

It does sound like a disconnect not fully seated, be careful to bleed any residual pressure before disconnecting.

That sure doesn't sound right Buck. Your swing cylinders run off of a separate pump from your boom cylinders so it isn't isolated to one sub system. Call your dealer and talk to the shop manager. Good thought on checking the disconnect particularly if you have had the hoe off recently.

Along with checking for a disconnect, I would also check the little arms that change the valve settings from 3-pt to hoe. Make sure they are fully engaged in the hoe position.

Hi Buck1974

I have tried to post a link to another thread on hear from a fellow called HersheyFarm who has been having what seems to be the same problem. Check all his recent postings as he has had his machine back to his dealer multiple times and they still have not resolved the problem.

Hopefully you will not have as many problems getting this resolved as he has had.
