Oil & Fuel M6950 Ezy Checker Warning light

Hi All,

I've got a M6950DT but don't know the meaning of the first warning light (from the left) on the warning light strip above the tacho etc.


I've made up a rough copy of the symbol - does anyone recognise it?

I have got an M6950Dt work shop manual but I can't find any description of the symbol.


I've checked engine and transmission oil levels - all good

Could it indicate a blocked filter?? Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to TBN.

To me, that light suggests that a transmission or hydraulic filter somewhere is clogged.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I was planning on doing a service and replace the filters so will bring those plans forward.

The M5030DT had a similar warning lamp on the hydraulic filter. Explained in the owners manual better than the shop manual if I remember right. Never had it come on while running.

It had a stem magnet that extended into the center of the filter to collect fines. Cleaned when changing filter.

Hi Smokeydog & PTSG - I did manage to find a Kubota manual with the above symbol and it says:

"Alarm against clogging in hydraulic filter"

So thanks for your assistance - I cleaned out the sludge and in the process discovered a broken wire to the sensor.

Thanks for the update. Looks like you're on the right track. A broken wire could indeed cause the light to turn on all the time but don't rule out replacing the filter as well. It may or may not be due but will give a piece of mind.
