Hello,
I am in the market for a new (or lightly used) tractor for use on a 200 ac farm property I own. I have narrowed the M7060 to my preferred model. Below is a target wish list of features I want (but I am considering all close options). Looking for opinions on how much I should be able to negotiate off the dealer price (not the price you build on "Kubota" website).

-4WD
-R4 Tires
->2 rear remotes
-Cab w/FEL
-12 speed transmission
-540/540E PTO
-Grill guard
-Air ride seat

Go to the buildmykubota site and spec the tractor like you want it. On Kubota compact tractors, you can usually get around 10% off the price listed on buildmykubota. Don't know if the pricing on the utility tractors like the M series is the same or not.

Hello Pappy - thank you for your response. I have used the buildmykubota on this model and most of the dealer pricing I have gotten is 8-12% better than the "build" price. I was wondering how much I could negotiate the dealer down on the price - so far about $500 is the best I have done. Any further suggestions?

Get the 3rd rear remote, 2 of which should have the float function and get the loader 3rd function for the grapple that you need. ;)As long as we are adding options, be sure to get the following. KSR ACCUMULATOR, 3 REAR WHEEL WEIGHTS , 1 GRILLE GUARD, REAR WINDOW WIPER KIT W/WASHER, ELECTRIC DEFOGGER KIT, AIR RIDE SEAT SUSPENSION UPGRADE KIT. All things to make life better. :cool:

This is the tractor I am looking at priced at $ 41,900. Anyone have a idea if this is a fair price?

36 hours is barely enough to warm the engine. I agree with Brian, get 3 rear remotes and 3rd function for the FEL because ther will be a time when you will need them since you have 200 acres. I would also suggest cast rear wheels w/ Ag tires for better all around traction. The 7060 is a gem of a tractor.

I thought you were looking at a new one. Since it's used, the price should be a little better than 10% off the price of a new one.

Find out the "in-service" date and the warranty expiration date, so you'll know how much warranty is left. Your post says "Used" rather than "Demo." If it was a demo, then it should have a full warranty. But if it's used, it would have an in-service date.

I wonder why someone would get rid of it with only 36 hours on it. Perhaps someone bought it and it shrunk when they got it home. It wouldn't be the first time that happened.
