Howdy Ya'll,
Just wanted to share with you my alternative to the tool box mounted under the FEL. I went and purchased a Tool Bag and set in the front right corner inside the cab. If I need it, open the door n grab it. Also seems to make sense to bring the tools with me rather than making several trips to the tool box.

Great addition.

I don't carry a lot of tools. But I carry specific tools. The bag isn't as important as what's in it.

A guy, excellent at fabrication, has made this type of toolbox which utilizes the right hand step mount to support the box.

If you have a loader the right door is all but useless as a door.

Not bragging about the bag, $10, not too impressive, just thought I would share a quick solution that may help someone. Obviously, Kubota could/should have done a much better job with the toolbox location. I just sold my 2000 New Holland TN70 and the toolbox was still intact and holding my essentials. A few tools, and an assortment of hitch pins, bushings, R clips, etc. I know how handy those extra items can be.

I go into woods occasionally after downed trees over rough terrain I think I would eventually tear it off .thanksRick

The cold weather cracked my original factor tool box so I made a replacement using plate steel. I constructed it with the same original dimensions but used a "double hinge" concept so that it could open completely.

I used to see more 50 Cal. Ammo Boxes as for Tool Boxes... anyone use them anymore ?

I purchased two, on sale at TSC, steel construction, $9.00/ea. a while back, hoping to attach them on the fender portion above the rear tires, tied in at the bottom of the ROPS.
Might make a steel plates or maybe aluminum, for reenforcing the bottoms which will also assist in mounting.

I've got a couple I need to install on either the tractor or zero turn. I now use a bag similar to yours in addition to the factory one on my T4.75. I keep the bag in the cab along with some cold water and snacks. A long day of brush hogging and you need to take a break every once in a while.
