So the front end loader will not lift ( goes very, VERY slowly).

Bucket will curl, but not lift. Everything else works fine.

Have switched both hydraulic filters and assume the system self-bleeds.

The controller valve switch (?) is on, am i missing something so simple here???

Thanks in advance and a great site.

Welcome to TBN:D

The most common problem when this happens is the QD's (quick disconnects), they may look seated properly but not pass fluid well. Unplug them all, wipe them down and re-connect them.

Yep, I have had that happen on mine and it worked for me.

Thanks for the advice, but Murphy won't leave.

This is a newer front end loader. Was working fine daily.

I went through all 4 connections, cleaned, re-attached, and still no fix.

Do you think removing the lift controller valve(?) might do it, or is the problem in the controller box?

Still baffled, any other ideas?

Try swapping the hoses so when you try to lift you are actually curling the bucket. That should tell you if the problem is in the valves or in the FEL.

I'm having that exact problem now. Did you figure it out? I've tried cleaning all the quick connects. Haven't swapped anything out in months. All other hydro functions are fine??? Thanks. Matt

If this has a joystick controller it's possible the cable clamp isn't holding the cable firmly.

I suggest installing a hyd gage and take some readings.

Have you messed with the hoses lately.

Did you swap the curl and lift hoses.

Recheck you hose connecting at the valve for incorrect hose hookup.

I'm back in town now. I'll check for that this wknd when I get back up. It does have the joystick system with a push button on it for the grapple system. I know there are wires coming out but I didn't notice a cable. I'll check better this wknd and swap quick connects to check functions on cylinders with another line. I don't suspect thats the problem. Seems more like a control issue, but??

Thanks for the info.

Did any of you/us notice that post 1- 5 post were from 2010.

However the subject might still be relevant.

Well, I can't delete my post as the time limit has timed out.
