Personally I wouldn't entertain the idea of building a cab, have never liked them on farm tractors.

Donald, built a cab, and put in a heater on my Kubota. I wrote it up on my blog. Keys were square tubing and using old rubber moldings from junk cars. the moldings were better then anything i could find for sale. Sealing the cab up tight is critical to staying comfortable. Here is a link to everything I learned, Click on the pics and they get bigger, much better for seeing the detail.

This sounds like someone who has never used one. There is nothing better than running a tractor all day long in hot, dusty conditions and getting out looking like you are ready to go out for the night. OR, for you yankee folks, blowing snow in below zero weather with your cold weather gear (you know the stuff you had to wear to get from your house to the tractor without freezing to death) laying behind the seat while you sit nice and cozy in your heated cab with windshield wipers on front and back windshield to keep the blowing snow removed.
I bought my LS strictly because I wanted (not needed but wanted) a cab for those hot days. Its also great for those sudden summer showers. It did facilitate me doing a bit more trimming of my pasture trees so I could get in closer with the mower with my cabbed tractor. The trees look much better with all those low hanging limbs removed.

Gary, you're right about the chilly yankees. Earlier tonight with an outdoor temp of 15*F and some wind it was time to plow with two different tractors. First up was at home. I did a couple 300' driveways and three shorter ones using the L3200 with a heated cab. It took less than 10 minutes to shed the coat and turn the heater fan off. Since it was still snowing a little I had to run the fan to melt the snow that stuck on the windshield and the cab got too warm in jeans and a sweatshirt.

Then it was off to the church to clear sidewalks and a couple driveways with the little Ford 1210 (no cab) that I decided to leave there for the winter. I knew what to expect so before starting I slipped into insulated bibs, Thinsulate gloves, heavy hooded Carrhart coat and a hat. In the hour it took to do the work my fingers were getting cold and my ears and face were starting to hurt.

No contest at all whch hour was a lot more fun. Reading about every build I could find on the 'net, and roygage's in particular, gave me enough ideas and the inspiration to go ahead and build a cab. It's something I really wouldn't want to be without. Here's mine:
