Yes you tend to remember guys that have the same tractor as you do, it was kind of a brotherhood thing....ha I have 1300 hrs on it. I don't farm, I have a wooded lake place since 2004, kinda in the mountains (if you call Oklahoma's biggest hills mountains, we do). I just have about 32 acres of thick woods and rocky land. I had bought a root grapple from a reference here years ago from Rootgrapple.com and it's been the best implement around the place I've ever seen. Dozing trees, moving logs and stumps after they are hoed out. I've been pretty impressed with my tractor what that little thing can do. I use the tractor hard but keep it up and jump on new parts if anything goes old looking or worn. The little BX90 Woods backhoe isn't for sure a Case 580 but if you've never had one you kinda get used to what you have. I use it to dig a lot of ditches for water and sewer lines, and stump digging etc. I don't know what I would have done without it. I'm surprised the rock it cuts through. Slow but it gets the job done. I would like to have some more umph on my loader as I use it a lot. I've had fantasies about a 6-way dozer blade and the only thing that has stopped me is I'm hesitant the loader cylinders would hold up with a front dozer blade. Maybe the a new T4.75 with a loader would handle it??? What's your thoughts?? I would be using it mostly to build roads but rocky roads.
