I have had a great lawn season along with educating myself more about the BX and its operations. To date no problems to mention. Now comes the first changing of implements from lawn to snow operation. Again with the assistance of my manuals everything went pretty smooth. So bring on the old man... I'm ready!
Oh yea! Did I forget to mention the quick modification I had to make to the storage shed in order to fit the BX with all its snow gear? I had to cut a 36" x 30" hole thru the side of the shed so the weight box could hang out so I could back in all the way in order to close the door. The shed was small to begin with 10' x 10' but at the time of construction it housed an old but well served green 275. So the temporary tarp will be replaced next year with permanent construction. I'll bump it out and extend it longer to store the weight box, mower deck and quick hitch when not in use. Maybe this post will bring a smile or chuckle.
Good luck to us all this winter. See you in the spring.....
