Made my own Tooth Bar for the BX-25

I bought 10 shanks $7.83 each, 10 teeth $2.15 each, pins $0.38 each. Shipping was $50 for the heaviest smallest box I've ever received. Packed like sardines. Total cost $153.60 CDN 88" wide bucket so 10 teeth.
So, those 2 for $65 shanks with teeth on ebay would be $10.36 each + shipping from Terra-cut.

I welded up my own tooth bar using combine teeth... not as strong as the teeth that straddle the bucket's cutting edge, but they were German forged steel and about $5 each when I bought them at a farm supply store. The steel bar cost as much as the teeth. Since I have a smallish tractor (B8200) they have worked fine for my applications.

In my terrain the soil is such that I have not contemplated removing my tooth bar.
The only down side is back grading, so I welded a hefty chunk of metal to the heel of my bucket so as to not wear it out.

There was/is an ex Kubota dealership owner who has/had bolt on toothbars left over, and I bought a 59" one for $100- these are the real deal. He is close to Baltimore's BWI airport. They are heavy, but still, shipping should be less than retail. PM me if you want contact info?
