I was looking to fashion a cup holder of some kind on my tractor, and was looking for something magnetic when I came across stukcup.com site web page They offer 22 and 32 oz sizes of insulated beverage containers with straw or pop up options which have a magnetic base so you can place it on the tractor fender or where ever. Choice of colors - but, alas, no orange. I recall that they were $9.95 and $11.95. Looked neat - think I will try one - I thought some of you might be interested as well.

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifOne of the longest running thread on TBN is about one such cup. MChalkley first made that cup and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if those folks got their idea from here. It must be in the archives, if you want to look for it. He used a 54 oz. cup with hard drive magnets. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Jerry beat me to it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif That Chalkley Cup is famous here, and for good reason. I remember the first time someone posted on the Stukcup there was a strong belief that it was stolen from him.

I'd think if you have metal fenders, it'd be a must have in the summer months. Unfortuately, mine are plastic so it took a bit more work. You can add a 'cup platform' made of metal to something like your cowl area or even your ROPS.

I've got a couple of Stuk-cups and they're alright. Not on my "gee whiz, why didn't I think of that, this is a truly great product" list, but they work. I drink out of bicycle water bottles a lot and the Stuk-cups are stiffer, harder to squeeze when drinking. Also, the molded base is ever-so-slightly rounded so it doesn't sit quite as firmly as you might think. I had one fall off, land on it's lid and break the lid. They did send me a replacement made of a tougher material. Overall... decent product but not outstanding /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They tried a new design for the bottom about a year ago. They now use a softer vinyl/plastic on the bottom to keep the scratches down if it gets slid sideways. They aren't real satisfied with it as yet. Going to try different magnets. I have had several conversations with Gary Hubbell, their sales manager.

Oh, I don't know about that. He was smart enough to get himself used in an advertisement and probably got a FREE Chalkey cup out of it! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
